Van 11 t/m 15 maart is in Berlijn de ITB, een van de grootste vakbeurzen op gebied van reizen. Op 11 maart is er een PhoCusWright bloggers summit, een speciale bijeenkomst voor een selectie van internationale travel bloggers. Ik zal daar ook bij aanwezig zijn en hierover berichten. De dag erna is een er een internationaal congres van PhoCusWright.

Travel, tourism and hospitality marketing are being dramatically impacted by social media. There is a never ending list of options that each travel industry marketer needs to understand and leverage including blogs, user generated content, YouTube, Facebook, Google Friend Connect, Twitter and more. An expert panel of social media experts will present and debate their top social media trends for 2009. Audience participation will add insight and controversy to the discussion. The workshop will conclude with the panel choosing the top three social media trends to pay attention to in your sales and marketing plan in 2009.
